Edify World School, Attapur proudly and pompously celebrated its First Annual Day with a two day programme on 23th December with theme Boogie Paradise whereas 24th December, encapsulating a plethora of phenomenal programmes.
On the First day of the Annual Day, the students from IKs to Grade 2 danced to perfection and ruled the stage. Moreover, these Tiny feets displayed their happiness of coming to school after the pandemic and celebrated the happiness quotient of togetherness, compassion, friendship, and self-love. The tiny tots delighted with the presence of Shikha Goel, IPS as Chief Guest. The kids took us on a walk of boogie paradise where the caterpillars, butterflies peacocks, bunnies, the dolls and brides were really captivating and kept everyone hooked to their chairs. The tiny cheerleaders of Edify left everyone startled and mesmerized. Through their performances, they educated about the hazardous effects of plastic usage and damage caused to the mother planet, which left the audience with self-introspection. They portrayed the importance of self-love and self-poise and left everyone jawdropping.
The second day of the Annual day was conducted with great joy by the students of Grade 3-8. The ceremonial function was presided over by Hon’ble Chief Guest, Dr Jitendra, IPS, Additional Director General of Police and Guest of Honour, Mr. A. K Agarwal, Managing Director, DRS Group. The other dignitaries that graced the occasion were Mr. Rajeshwar Reddy, Chief Managing Director and Mrs. Haritha Reddy, Academic Director. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial Lamp followed by the presentation of the School’s Annual Report by the Principal, Mrs. Nallam Veena. Mr. Basha, Head of Operations talked about how the splendid campus of Edify came into existence and its progression henceforth. The evening progressed, witnessing the musical performance of the School orchestral band, mesmerizing skit and dance performances that centered around ‘Swarajya ka Andolan’ and ‘Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.’ The dances, skits, dialogues, costumes and stage decoration bewitched everyone. The show highlighted the breathtaking journey of India from the British Rule to the contemporary times. The rich cultural heritage of each state was displayed through eye-catching performances and skits.
The audience on both days were seamlessly witnessed a spectacular cultural fiesta and encouraged the students with their applauses. The parents were present till the end of the show and supported the management by following all the rules.
